    About the Restaurant
    Our tours are designed to provide a unique and authentic glimpse into the Kauai culinary scene. We have worked with the following food growers and makers to provide an exclusive foray you can only experience with Tasting Kauai. Join us on a culinary romp through paradise!

    Kilohana Plantation

    Ride a train reminiscent of the plantation era through a working fruit orchard. Disembark and feed sheep, goats and wild pigs. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the orchard, and pick tropical fruit from the tree. Learn how to harvest sugar cane and see how pineapple is grown. We conclude this portion of our tour seated in the center of the plantation while watching our guide Kaimana demonstrate how to cut exotic fruit, and we sample what's in season!

    Kauai Marriott Resort

    Savor the flavors of Kauai with a scrumptious four-course lunch cooked just for you by executive chef Guy Higa. Chat with chef Guy as he prepares Kauai grown ingredients, including some from his own garden, ask questions and learn cooking techniques used by professional chefs. Enjoy your island meal on the garden court, and taste the best of Kauai. Chef Higa is donating all proceeds to the Salvation Army.

    Because this is a farm to fork tour with cocktails, we end the day at one of two Kauai-based artesian beverage makers.

    Koloa Rum Company

    Learn what it takes to make award-winning, premium, single-batch Hawaiian rums right here on Kauai. Join master bartender Dave Power, owner of The Feral Pig, as he teaches the art of handcrafting cocktails. Savor local flavors and sip two cocktails made with Koloa Rum.


    Nani Moon Mead

    Hawaii's only meadery is right here on Kauai where honey wines are handcrafted with raw Hawaiian honey, and Kauai Grown fruit. No sulfites or chemical additives are added.

    Just for us, owner Stephanie Krieger closes shop and offers our guests an exclusive tour. Learn about her unique mead making process, and sample the line of five artesian meads. Guests choose their favorite flavor, and take a bottle home! An $18 store credit, to be used during the tour time only, if offered to guests who may not want a bottle of their own.
